In the 1950s, Swiss architect Pierre Jeanneret visited the Indian city of Chandigarh. He designed the Chandigarh chair for the working class of this utopia. The chair has since become a real concept and the inspiration for our furniture. The furniture makers in our Indonesian workshop are freely inspired by the Chandigarh chair. They use high quality Mindi wood, with a beautiful visible grain. This gives the chairs an authentic look and feel. And rightly so, because authentic they are!
