How do you want your rattan?
Rattan, a material after our hearts. It is a high quality, pliable and robust material. Rattan surfaces are never identical to each other, our furniture is also stretched by hand. This allows for slight differences in the weave and color, but above all for optimal seating comfort. Fortunately, vintage furniture has never really gone out of style; in fact, there has been a real run on it in recent years. And we can only encourage that. After all, a quality and timeless item will last for generations. Not only is it better for the environment, but it also gives a piece of furniture a story. Our (handcrafted) story
The thing that makes our furniture so unique is of course the way it is made. The difference with machine-made furniture is that our furniture is not all exactly the same. That makes them unique! But apart from the admirable craftsmanship, the durability of our products is an equally important part of our concept. All handmade chairs, cabinets and other furniture are made from Mindi wood. This wood comes from oak from Indonesian plantations and is known for its beautiful grain. Moreover, all our handmade furniture has a FLEGT label, which shows that the wood is recognized by the EU as legal wood complying with the European Timber Regulation.
